How Daisy answers your calls
What callers hear and where to find the conversation afterwards.
Last reviewed: 29 September 2026
Daisy is Callyard's AI receptionist. When your phone service is set up, calls diverted to your assigned Callyard number reach Daisy. She uses your business details to ask what the caller needs and record the enquiry.
What your caller hears
Daisy introduces herself as an AI assistant and explains that the call is recorded. Her greeting uses your business name. Check your hours, prices and service area in Settings so the information she gives matches your business.
Before changing call forwarding, ask us to confirm that your number and Daisy are ready. The demonstration on the website is a separate example, not a test of your own phone line.
Where the call goes afterwards
Open Enquiries in your signed-in dashboard to find the call and its recorded details. Open the call to read the summary and any available transcript or recording. If information is missing or wrong, tell us which call it was rather than assuming it has been saved.
Diary shows saved visits. A conversation about a date is not, by itself, proof that a booking exists: check the visit in Diary before relying on it. Which actions Daisy can take depends on the services enabled for your business.
Check your setup with one call
Once we confirm your setup is ready, ring your normal business number from another phone and let the divert work. Check that Daisy answers for the right business, then find the call in Enquiries. If either part fails, contact us before relying on the divert.
Use the call divert guide for the network instructions. To update your business information, read Change what Daisy says.
